How to setup Adsense Page-level ads in Blogger? How to fix the errors?

Hey Everybody,

Today I'm going to tell you step by step what you need to do for implementing Page-Level ads on Blogger. There are already some blogs about it but I'm also going to help with the most common errors while implementing the Page-level ads.

So what are Page-level ads?

Page-Level ads are ads which will be shown on mobile devices and are currently in beta but are rolled out and available for use for all adsense users. These ads will help you monitize your websites via mobile just like the mobile apps with Google Admob ads.

What you should know about Page-level ads:Some interesting facts about Page-level Ads:

- They are show via Adsense at optimal times which will increase your revenue
- There are two ad formats: anchor/overlay ads and vignettes
- They don't count towards your 3 ads per page limit
- The are only displayed on mobile-optimized sites

How to implement the new Page-level ads?
  1. Log in on your Adsense account

  2. Go to My ads and choose Page-level ads:

  3.  Activate the Page-level ads thus both Anchor/overlay ads and Vignette ads:
  4. Scroll down a bit and click on "Get code":

  5.  Copy your code:
  6. Go to blogger => your blog => Template => Backup your Template first!
  7.  Click on the Edit HTML and search for the code <head> and </head>

  8.  Paste your code from adsense after <head> and before </head>. The code needs to be pasted into the "head" section.

    • You will now receive the following error:

    • Replace in the code the async by async='' (this is ' '):

      <script async='' src='//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js'/>
    • After changing the async part it is possible that you receive the following error:

Error parsing XML, line 1838, column 23: Element type "script" must be followed by either    attribute specifications, ">" or "/>".
    • Got to the end of this script line:<script async=" src="//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js"> and remove the > (green) at the end of thel ine (behind .js") and place it back!

  9. Save your template and you are done

Testing your Page-level ads:

If you have done all the above steps then your Page-level ads are activated. It is now time to test them.

  1. Visit your blog with a mobile device to test the ads.
  2. In the address bar of your mobile browser, add #googleads to the end of your blog's URL. For example in our case: www.myreviewedproducts.com#googleads.
  3. Now you can choose on the top (above your blog) which ads you want to see. You can select Anchor/overlay or Vignette:

  4. If you see them then they are working! Good luck with it!

If you find this post usefull and it helped you in any way then please share and give comments!
Thanks for reading!

Highlander 2: Three good movie parts

Hey everybody,

I created 3 video's on my youtube channel which are the 3 good Highlander 2 parts. Well for me that is.

The 3 parts are the following:

Conner become young again.

In this scene Conner Macleod kills a scouter that is hunting him down.
Killing the scouter gives him the scouters strenght and thus Conner regains his youth.

Conner kill General Katana

Of course there is still a lot more going on in this movie between Conner that regains his youth and the killing of General Katana.

In this scene, well yeah, There Can Be Only One. Check it out:

And last but not least.

Conner destroys the shield that protects the earth.

Conner created a shield with his good friend to protect the earth against the sunlight because the ozon layer as almost gone.
The ozon layer is restored after many years and Conner detroys the shield so that everybody can enjoy the sunlight again instead of living in a dark world.

I hope you all enjoy these movie parts too!

Diablo 3: New season 5 is keeping me from writting!

Hey everybody,

I know that it has been a while since my last post. But the reason for this is that I have a lot of things on my mind + Diablo 3 (Diablo III: Reaper of Souls - PC/Mac ) launched his 5th season.

As I'm a big fan of Diablo 3, I'm of course playing this new season which gives me less time to write.

So, today I'm going to write about the new Diablo 3 season. Blizzard is doing a great job trying to keep the game alive with new updates, new sets, reworked items, more content, ect...

What is a season in Diablo 3?

For those that don't know Diablo 3, every few months, Blizzard starts a new Season which is basically starting the game from scratch. In this season you have new and reworked items. Sometimes there is also new content but the game itself stays the same.
Blizzard also introduces new achievements and new goals and you can compete with others as there is a ladder (ranking system).

So for those who want to see a bit more of the game, I have made some YouTube video's:

Bandit shrine:
This is one of the new shrines in the game that gives you a pack of goblins.
Goblins are creatures that give you loot (weapons, gold, gems, gear, etc).

Avarice conquest:
This one I made to show people how to complete the Avarice conquest.

Greater rift level 65:
The Greater rift or Grift is a part of the game content where you need to clear the rift within 15 minutes. If you achieve doing so you can upgrade legendary gems which will give you more power!

I have made 9 video's in total which can all be found on youtube (Tomas Tree) .
You can always subscribe to My Channel (Tomas Tree) if you want to see and follow me and my latest movies.

So don't forget to share and subscribe :-)!

The day I saw what the new release is, is also the day that I decided to buy it :-)!

Lego is going to release a new DC super Heroes exclusives and this time it is:

Batman™ Classic TV Series – Batcave!

This set brings back nostalgia. The set will cost €289,99, as always, it is not cheap but this time you will receive a lot of nice stuff and it contains 2526 pcs:

  • Includes 9 minifigures: Batman™, Robin™, Bruce Wayne™, Dick Grayson™, Alfred Pennyworth™, The Joker™, Catwoman™, The Riddler™ and The Penguin™.
  • This LEGO® model of the Batcave as seen in the classic 1960s TV series features 2 Batpoles for Batman™ and Robin™ to slide down, a selection of Bat-gadgets, helipad, plus a Batmobile and Batcopter.
  • The Wayne Manor section of the model features Bruce Wayne’s study with the iconic Batphone, a hinged Shakespeare bust with secret button underneath, sliding false bookcase to access the Batpoles, and assorted elements including decorated wallpaper bricks, wall lamps, framed portraits, a framed fish and trophies. It also includes an exterior wall for climbing, with an opening roof for easy access to the Batpoles and an aerial element.
